TCM Remembers Ted Turner

Ted Turner, who built WTBS into a superstation and founded Turner Classic Movies, TNT, Cartoon Network, and CNN, died today at the age of 87. He had been diagnosed with Lewy body dementia in 2018. I plan to write a eulogy for him tomorrow. As for now I am quite ready to do so. In founding TCM, Mr. Turner had an enormous impact on my life. I can't help but be saddened by his death.
