It was after the song had been recorded that Paul suggested that The Beatles record their upcoming album as if it was performed by the fictional band. The end result was an album considered by many to be among The Beatles' greatest albums of all time, Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band.
Without further ado, then, "...let me introduce to you the one and only Billy Shears and Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band..."
