'It's Only Love" by Cheap Trick

When comes to their albums, Cheap Trick's The Doctor was not a big seller. At first it only sold 80,000 copies--dismal when compared to the days of At Budokan and Dream Police. Its lone single, "It's Only Love," only went to #89 on Billboard's Hot 100. Regardless, I have always liked the album, and "It's Only Love" remains one of my favourite Cheap Trick songs. Here is a link to the video to "It's Only Love," courtesy of IFilm.

Good tune. I'd never heard it before.

What would you say your favorite CT song is?

It's hard to pick a favourite, but I think I had to, it would be "Dream Police" Part of that is sentimental, as Dream Police was the third CT album (after Heaven Tonight and At Budokan) I bought and the time I really started to get into their music.

It's hard for me to pick just one but it would probably be "Surrender" followed closely by "Stop This Game".

"Stop This Game" is my second favourite CT song. It was also the first song I ever heard them play live (they used it as the lead song during the '81 tour).

They always sounded really good with orchestration.
