First Snow

Okay, this has nothing to do with pop culture, but we had our first substantial snow tonight. I am not sure how many inches we have gotten, but it was enough to cover the ground. This is notable because it is rather early for a substantial snowfall here in Missouri (although not nearly as substantial or as early as last year's snowstorm of December 1). Now if only we can have a white Yuletide....

I hope for snow for the Holiday week too--I can't remember the last time I saw a white Christmas-- they are usually grey or brown.

we've had a few weak snowfalls, and there are some tiny slops of snow here and there on the pavement and in the grass--but it is supposed to start snowing in a few hours-- hope.

everyone's yard looks so bad this time of year--all the old chairs, toys, discards and grills that were hidden behind bushes and trees can now be seen.
Snow is needed to hide this stuff and make the world seem dreamy.

You could've made the post pop-culture referenced. A DVD was recently just released entitled "First Snow." It stars Guy Pearce, Piper Perabo (meow) and William Fichtner.

Would go well with this post... except for the fact that you're still alive.
