Excellent!
I completely forgot Arsenic and Old Lace for Cary, ugh!!
And I love that picture of Gene & Cyd. :)
Great list! A LOT of my favorites are on here!
I particularly found is great that you had BOTH Dirk AND Ty! Peacemaking at it's best! ;-D
Great choices!! Obviously I'm thrilled to see Dirk Bogarde in there (though I'm beginning to wonder if I should start adding the Sir? Everyone else does and I haven't yet..)
Also, love Leslie Howard! If I had more room in my top 20, he would have been in there!!
Ugh.. Tyrone Power ;-)
Harley, I couldn't resist that picture of Gene and Cyd. I always loved her.
Millie, didn't have peacemaking so much in mind as I like both Dirk and Ty. I don't think one can love Swinging London movies without like Dirk or one can love swashbucklers without liking Ty!
I always call him "Sir Dirk" for the same reason I always call Christopher Lee "Sir Christopher Lee." The Anglophile in me feels the need to recognise knighthood. :-) Anyway, I think if you ever watched The Black Swan, you might change your mind about Ty!
I just want to tell you that I just found your blog site and will be returning often. I have been researching who died this year and you have done a marvelous job of keeping up with everyone.
Thank you!!
Smilee
Great list, with Gene Kelly and Jimmy Stewart. Yes! Looking forward to reading your blog often, you're going such a wonderful job...
