I love when George screams "Merry Christmas" at him through the window!
But I don't agree that he may be the best known after Drew. Isn't John a bit more famous (even for his alcoholism?)
Don't forget to read my contribution to the blogathon! :)
Cheers!
LeLĂȘhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02419693749682458647noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7210602.post-39728964597840214182015-08-15T18:25:59.013-05:002015-08-15T18:25:59.013-05:00Nice piece on Lionel Barrymore's peerless port...Nice piece on Lionel Barrymore's peerless portrayal of one of cinema's most memorable villains. Interesting that you mention that we, the audience, simply assume that Mr. Potter was punished somewhere down the line. I believe this is one instance where the audience would like to have literally seen such a punishment. (Remember "Saturday Night Live's" priceless "lost footage" of the movie that shows Potter getting his just desserts?) Other than that, great critique!Steve Baileyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07460010481523481647noreply@blogger.com
