The cast and crew new they were doomed. The final episode entitled "On the Run" was written ad a series finale. They were right as the same executive that canceled it on ABC canceled it a second time on NBC. Sexism on some part had to do with this. Wonder Woman was canceled on ABC the same time ABC canceled The Bionic Woman. Both had high ratings. Those were canceled but The Six Million Dollar Man was not???? Sad these shows were canceled in their prime.
