As many of you know, I hate summer. About the only things good about it are flowers, butterflies, and hummingbirds. Other than that, it is a hot, miserable, muggy time of year when there's way too much daylight and far too many allergens. Of course, it doesn't help that many of the people who meant the most to me died in the summer. Anyway, this summer has been worse than most. So many of my favourite actors and musicians have died this summer that I swear the vast of majority of my posts since June have been eulogies. And then this summer there have been far too many days with heat indices of over 100. Anyway, for those of you who also hate summer, here's a song for you. "Anti-Summersong" by The Decemberists.
